Learn about BHS Connecticut's Partnership with Charity Organization Person to Person

Updated: Dec 8, 2021

On the heels of a successful coat drive with Person to Person (P2P) in which Brown Harris Stevens agents and employees donated nearly 200 new and used coats, our Connecticut offices are making giving back to the community a top priority this holiday season.

The offices will partner with the organization once more to collect and donate toys for children in need throughout Fairfield County. The toy drive is completely virtual, so you can take part from the comfort of home.

“Brown Harris Stevens is proud to support local nonprofits. Our agents and employees really get into the holiday spirit by participating in local initiatives where their donations are helping families right here in the community where we live and work. These are some of the many ways we can come together and give back to the communities we serve, and we feel privileged to partner throughout the year with incredible organizations like these and their community initiatives.” -- BHS Connecticut Executive Director Christopher Halstead

P2P is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing individuals and families in need with essential resources to both help them overcome daily challenges and put them on a path toward economic stability.

In addition to donating funds directly to the organization, P2P also welcomes you to purchase gifts for children from its Amazon wish list or even donate board games.

Person to Person serves over 28,000 residents in Fairfield County through its food pantries, a clothing center, caseworker assistance and emergency financial assistance programs, and both scholarships and camperships.
