Trailblazing real estate industry icon and Brown Harris Stevens CEO, Bess Freedman has been selected for RISMedia's 6th Annual Real Estate Newsmakers Hall of Fame, recognized for her significant role within the real estate industry.
Bess Freedman, along with her fellow inductees, "...will be awarded for consistently going above and beyond for the betterment of our industry, the consumers we serve and the larger cause of homeownership."
The announcement comes with the release of RISMedia's list 2023 Real Estate Newsmakers, where over three hundred real estate professionals are highlighted within 6 categories: Achievers, Crusaders, Futurists, Influencers, Luminaries, and Trailblazers.
Brown Harris Stevens CMO Matthew Leone was recognized in the "Influencers" Category for his innovative Mastery of the Craft branding campaign, the firm's now-viral TikTok, and numerous other initiatives that have, as RisMedia stated, "brought a fresh perspective to Brown Harris Stevens."
Brown Harris Stevens Agent Jeffrey Goodman was named a "Trailblazer" for his popular walking tours.
"Our 2023 Real Estate Newsmakers are a shining example of not letting market conditions dictate the future, but taking control of your own story instead. We spotlight some of the industry’s most dynamic individuals for their accomplishments and contributions to... communities they serve." -- RISMedia
Freedman, along with 7 other inductees, will be honored at RISMedia's Newsmakers Reception and Dinner, on Sept. 6. The ceremony will take place during the company's CEO & Leadership Exchange at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., which will begin on Sept. 5 through Sept. 7, 2023.
In addition to her hall of fame induction, Freedman will be featured in the Real Estate Newsmakers section of the upcoming February 2023 issue of RISMedia's magazine publication.
