The Latest on the NYC Housing Market, from Supply and Demand to Interest Rates

A number of new reports show home prices are cooling but sales are up. What does this mean for NYC’s Covid-19 real estate recovery?

Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman visited Bloomberg's Triple Take to discuss the city's market. While buyer activity is understandably mild in comparison to last year, there is still movement in the market that is on par with that of 2019.

"Housing is such an emotional commodity. People have to make life decisions, and it [real estate] is the best investment ... it is the American dream, and people believe in it big time.
