3 Bronx Restaurants Participating in NYC Restaurant Week 2022

We are officially nearing the end of NYC Restaurant Week, but you still have a few days to get out and sample some of the city's finest restaurant offerings through multi-course, prix fixe menus at accessible prices!

Known to locals as a food mecca, The Bronx is one of NYC's best-kept secrets for dining. From its own "Little Italy" to the borough's diverse population, there are a range of gastronomic experiences for a variety of palates. Here are a few to consider.

Mott Haven

Easily one of the most unique restaurants in The Bronx, Chocobar Cortés is both a restaurant and a living family legacy. Helmed by the fourth generation of the Cortés family—a Puerto Rican family specializing in chocolate making—the restaurant's fascinating menu incorporates chocolate into any item, even non-dessert dishes.

The Croquetas de Jamón Serrano, for instance, are made with ham, tomato-garlic sauce, dark chocolate, and manchego cheese.

Located on Arthur Avenue—the heart of Little Italy—Michelangelo's is one of the most popular places in The Bronx for classic, NYC-style pizza and pasta. If you're not looking to try the pizza, indulge in a homestyle plate of lasagna that will have you humming "Volare" in no time.

For true Caribbean "flava," look no further than Flava's. With the goal of making you feel like you have escaped to an island paradise, the restaurant delivers with its authentic Jamaican Cuisine.

For Restaurant Week, try the restaurant's namesake oxtail, served with rice, peas, and cabbage. There are also great cocktail solutions selections, including the Queen, made with Casamigos, blue curacao, cranberry & lime juices, simple syrup
